When competitive figure skater Naomi Williams suffered a complex foot injury while practicing a throw element, her athletic career was put on the line. After initial conservative treatments brought little progress, she turned to Dr. Brad Dresher at Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group.

“He was very calm and reassuring... I figured, if he was calm, I had to be calm also.”

Through detailed MRI evaluation and precision surgical intervention, Dr. Dresher repaired two torn ligaments as well as underlying cartilage damage discovered during surgery. Combining expert surgical care with advanced Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapies and a structured recovery plan, Dr. Dresher guided Naomi back to elite-level performance.

Just six months post-surgery, Naomi returned to the ice stronger than ever—landing her trickiest elements and going on to capture 2nd place at the U.S. National Championships and 3rd place at the World Junior Championships.
