This is a minimally invasive procedure performed with an arthroscope, a narrow, rigid metal tube with a lens system and fiber-optic lighting. During ankle arthroscopy, the arthroscope is inserted through small incisions (portals) around the ankle joint to visualize and treat bone and soft tissue injuries with specialized instruments.

The MaxForce™ MTP Fusion Plating System is an innovative fixation technology from Arthrex designed to enhance stability and compression during first metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint (big toe) fusion procedures. Commonly used to treat advanced arthritis, hallux rigidus, failed prior procedures, and other painful great toe conditions, this system helps create an optimal environment for successful bone fusion and long-term pain relief.
